hilsSo, the FBI has shut down Megaupload with no warning. Because apparently every single file stored on that site is illegal content. Does this remind anyone of 1984? Closed down with no questions asked.
I am actually scared.
Random Acts had a lot of files stored on Megaupload. Legal files. We had videos of some of our acts of kindness as well as a lot of footage and photos of last year's trip to Haiti. All of that is now gone with seemingly no hope of recovering it.

hsapiens is awesome and saved a lot of the Haiti footage before this happened but we've still lost a lot of stuff.
Was it too much to send out a warning notice and give people who have legal content stored on the site time to store it elsewhere?
I wonder what's going to be next. Youtube?
