Huh. Looks like Bobby is dead for real. I actually don't think they're going to bring him back either. I think it would be a disservice to the character. He'll probably pop up occasionally in flashbacks or hallucinations and whatnot like Mary does and like I'm sure they'd do with John if JDM wasn't so expensive ;)

I was a bit confused because I thought this was the episode with the thing from the promo (you know the one everyone has been flailing about - and if you don't know I'm not spoiling you) and I kept waiting for it to happen and it didn't.

I quite liked it. I liked the girl who was mini!Dean and I contemplated how I would like to bite Sam ;)

In all seriousness it was okay. It was about the boys grieving and processing and dealing in their own different ways. I think I need to watch the final scene again because I really didn't understand Dean's smiling. It just sort of creeped me out.

Edit: Okay, now I get it. I totally forgot about the convo with Frank about smiling because you're alive.

Mostly the episode was kind of fillery but I think that's what the show needed at this point. A step back to allow everyone (including the audience) to breathe and adjust to what happened to Bobby.

Maybe next week will be the thing I thought this week was. And I think it might be connected to Dean's disappearing beer :D
