When to warn

I know the issue of warnings if often discussed in fandom, particularly when related to triggery issues.

My question is related to warning for character death. Now, I want to know if one of the main characters is going to die in a fic, because I don't want to read fics where that happens.

My question is twofold:

1. Would you warn for character death if the character in question is brought back to life before the end?

2. Would you warn for character death if it was a villain ie Meg or Crowley?

The thing is I know the character death warning puts people off and for me the two above examples don't need to be warned for but I'd love to know what you guys think
