I'm nearing the end of Dragon Age 2
It's not a bad game, but it's definitely not as good as Origins. I hate the fact that that pretty much the whole thing is set in Kirkwall and the surrounding area. One of the things I loved about Origins was all the different scenery and feel of the places. Orczamar was very diffent to Denerim which was very different to the forest etc. DA2 feel very samey.
I found that the romancing was way too easy. With the characters in Origins you had to talk to them, get to know them, give them gifts before they fell in love with you. I had maybe two conversations with Anders before he was declaring his love for me.
I did approve of Alistair and Zevran showing up. I may ship Anders/Alistair just a little and also Anders/Varrick.
Of course all of this was before Anders turned out to be INSANE! OMG! I was literally agape with shock when he blew up the Chantry to start a war. I'm not quite finished yet so I'm sort of hoping he redeems himself.
So where's the Dragon Age slash at?
