*collapses*
May. 5th, 2011 04:47 pmYou ever have one of those days where you think the world is conspiring against you?
I had a huge list of things to do today and for various reasons I've barely got any of them done.
It started off well. I went and voted. I hope the rest of my UK friends have too. This referendum could really change the way UK politics works. I've made no secret that I'm pro-AV but even if you're not you should go and make your voice heard.
After that I went shopping which again was fine. I like going during the day during the week as there are never many people there. One of the plus sides of the crazy hours I work.
For ages I've been meaning to buy some new lightbulbs for the house. 3/4 of the spots in the kitchen had gone as well as the light in the main bedroom and the one on the landing. Finally had time to sort it out.
Except not.
I bought a load of food and the bulbs and came home. First bad thing was when I pulled one of the bulbs out of the box it was broken. Figured I'd change one and take the broken one back later.
The other one didn't work either.
Checked all the fuses, they were all fine, checked the light again and realised that the other bulb was broken too.
So I had to walk back to the supermarket to replace them both.
FINALLY after 40 mins and climbing up and down to check stuff about 10 time I managed to get them both working.
THEN I went to do the one in the kitchen and figured I'd test one bulb first to make sure it worked. The one I'd taken out turned out to be the one remaining working bulb.
Seriously, it was almost like a farce.
At last after a ridiculous amount of time I got everything working and the kitchen cleaned as well.
I am WAY too tired to do anything else so the cleaning and tidying of the living room will have to wait until tomorrow.
JFC!
And for making your way through that incredibly boring post have some Misha to compensate

I suddenly got really excited about Nashville today. Even though (excluding his panel) I'll probably only see him for about 5 mins
