Off on a tangent for a moment. Now, I have read no spoilers so I don't know what's coming but I have had a feeling for a while that Cas is going to end this season being stripped of his angel powers. I don't know whether it will be voluntary or forced upon him but I am 90% sure he will end the season human.

If I'm right this is EXACTLY the sort of thing I want to see in S7. Sam, Dean, Bobby and Cas all working together. Maybe this is a trial run to see how well it would be received?
