Today I met my two shift partners and they both seem nice. Doing December with one guy and then January with the other. I really do like this place so I am really hoping I get made permanent. Hopefully the shift thing will agree with me too. It's not for everyone, hence the guy quitting at the weekend. To be honest so long as I can get the time off I need to do my one or two cons per year I'm good. And I get a decent amount of holiday time so I can't see it being an issue.

And in happier news it looks like I won't be working Christmas Day now \o/ I'm doing Christmas Eve and Boxing Day but I get Christmas Day off. The guy quitting at the weekend meant the shifts had to be reorganised. YAY!

I had my first day of doing proper work today and my first experience of being yelled at for something that wasn't my fault :-s To be honest it's the first snarky customer I've encountered since I started so I'm guessing that's a rarity.

But, yeah, things are going well. Hopefully that won't jinx it.

Oh, and everyone at work uses MSN so I need to change my user pic to something that isn't Misha ;)
