So the day started off badly with a call telling me I didn't get the job I interviewed for on Friday. Apparently I was second choice but they went with someone with financial qualifications

But literally five minutes after that I got a call from the other place (the one I posted about yesterday) and they offered me a two month fixed contract with the possibility of going permanent after that. Methinks this is like a trial period but I guess it is for me too so I can see what I make of the job

Anyway I start on Monday so at least I'll have some money coming in and I can stop stressing about Christmas and maybe having to move back in with my parents

Just have to hope it goes well. Going to spend the rest of the week refreshing my IT knowledge
