hilsIt's been ages since I was actually in a position where I had time to do a Merlin review after the episode so, here, have one.
How amazing is Colin Morgan? No, really. I mean I know they covered him in prosthetics to make him look old but the things he did with his voice and the way he moved were just awesome. I think he'll go on to do great things when Merlin is over. If there's any justice in the world anyway.
Apart from that I did LOL when Arthur was talking to Gwen about going off to live on a farm and said he'd take Merlin with him. Oh, show, never stop being so overtly slashy.
I kind of hate that Gwen has now just been reduced to The Love Interest. I miss the S1 days when she was sassy and called Arthur on his bullshit even when she didn't know him that well. Nowadays she just seems to pine a lot and not really do much else. It's sad.
Oh, and it's another tournament episode next week where someone is using magic. I've seen this before...
