Wow, it feels like forever since I did an SPN commentary review.
I was all excited about the recap montage and this wasn't what I expected at all but I kind of love it! Intercutting Dean's old life with his new one. And Beautiful Loser? Yes, very appropriate for Dean. I like. Um...it is weird that find domesticated!Dean way hotter than hunter!Dean? Just me then? Okay.
Ahhh! I see what you did there new credits. The smashing of the window of Dean's new life, right? Now where's Sam (and his abs)
I do not trust Dean's new 'friend' Methinks demon or the suchlike
Oh, I love the little touches of Dean going through this abandoned house. He's sweating and his hands are shaking. Nice work Jensen. Subtle hints that Dean's a bit out of his element now when it comes to hunting.
Um...where exactly IS the Impala. Did I miss seeing it parked up somewhere?

Aww! I love the lockup box with his dad's jacket and his dad's journal. Also, I'm not hating Lisa in this episode anywhere near as much as I expected. Is Ben ever going to get any lines though?
OMG! YED! Um...isn't he like dead? I know death doesn't mean much in this show but I sort of understood it that if you were shot with the colt that was it permanently. Ohhh, unless Dean is going nuts and imagining all this because he misses hunting. That would be kind of cool.

Huh! So Grampa Campbell is up to shennanigans. Color me surprised.
Aww! So Dean is Sam's humanity or something now? The wincesters will love that
Huh. I don't know what to make of that in all honesty. I liked it better than 5x01 for sure but I am really not sure about The Campbells. I mean I can sort of understand Samuel being raised by mistake because he has the same name and blood as Sam but I am really not sure about the cousins.
I didn't hate it though and I actually kind of like what they've done with both Dean and Sam. It works for me.
We shall see how it goes I guess. I didn't find myself missing Castiel at all. I am such a bad Cas fan.
