hilsI've made an appointment to test drive a pretty little Ford Ka on Monday. I can see myself getting irritated with the car buying business very quickly. I have an incredibly low tolerance for pushy salesmen which it why I bought my mobile phone online
As soon as I called up to make the appointment the guy had me on the defensive. Why couldn't I come in before Monday? Was I aware the car might sell over the weekend? Did I want to pay a holding fee on it?
I DON'T CARE! Sheesh, it's only the first one I'm looking at and if it sells it sells. There will be others out there. I so very nearly just hung up on the guy but I suspect it's going to be like that wherever I go.
A holding fee. Honestly. People really expect you to pay money for something you haven't even looked at yet? The mind boggles.
