It's a different world. Space has been colonized, the wealthy fly to work rather than drive, and slavery is legal. Jared's family has been ripped apart by tragedy. The only way he can save the ones left is to offer himself up as a bondmate. The more he's willing to give, the higher the price he can command. And Jared is willing to give a lot. Jensen is wealthy and heartbroken after the wife he adored walked out on him. He isn't looking for love. All he wants is a relationship he can control. Buying a bondmate seems like the perfect solution. Yet when he purchases Jared's contract, he gets more than he bargained for.
I honestly didn't expect to like this as I'm not normally into bonding and dubcon but this was amazing! It completely sucked me in and I devoured the whole thing in one go

This was a great read. The author tackled a sensitive subject in a really mature and insightful way. As well as enjoying the story I felt like I learned something as well.


Dean/Castiel
Season Ticket On A One Way Ride by darksilvercat
Before Castiel breaks Dean out of the green room in 4.22, he breaks Anna out of prison. With two angels on Team Free Will, the apocalypse takes a different course. Some things change, some things stay the same, and the world is going to Hell in a handbasket, but in the midst of it all, Dean finds a way to hold his family together.
I wish S5 had been this fic. Even if you took out the Dean/Cas sex this is what S5 should have been. It was epic and awesome.

In which Team Free Will (plus Gabriel!) stops the Apocalypse by doing nothing but bantering and being awesome.
I seriously don't know how I didn't read this before. It's awesome. There's some mild Dean/Cas pre-slash (nothing more than you would get on the show) and Gabriel is awesome as he always is. Absolutely awesome.

Conspiracy theorists are the best to fuck around with, Gabriel thinks. A Stonehenge Apocalypse/Supernatural crossover.
