deancastiel chat room and this girl was snarking at the lack of conventions near her and described it as gay. Then she talked about something else negatively and described that as gay too.
It was really startting to rub me up the wrong way so I finally called her on it in a lighthearted way and told her that in a room full of slashers gay was actually a good thing.
She replied 'Well, it's not like anyone I know who's gay cares that I say it'
I have a feeling this is an argument I could argue until I was blue in the face and never win. She's now happily saying she calls her friends fags/faggots. Apparently anyone who doesn't like it is uppity/hyper-sensitive.
