That's it then
Jun. 30th, 2010 04:59 pmJust finished my last day at work. Wavering between excitement at a new phase of my life and blind panic. I've never had a period of unemployment since I got my first job when I was 14 years old. I've always moved straight from one job to the next and I worked all the way through school and uni because I couldn't afford not to.
So part of me is quite excited to get a career break that most people my age did when they were a lot younger. I'm getting quite a good severance package from work so I can afford to take a bit of time to get the house move done and to get a couple more IT qualifications under my belt.
But, of course, there's that worry that I won't be able to find a new job. Obviously the current ecconomic situation is not ideal for job hunting. My parents have already told me I can move back in with them if I run out of money and still haven't found something but I really hope it doesn't come to that
*deep breath*
