Random conversations
Jun. 2nd, 2010 11:47 pmI have had some strange and amusing conversations this evening

H: I have no idea what was going on with the writing this year
F: Pirates. Everyone's thinking it, I'm just saying it.
F: *thinks S5 would have benefitted greatly from the inclusion of pirates*
H: They could have battled Lucifer on the high seas
F: Using Monkey Island rhyming insults!
H: Lucifer could have unleashed the kraken. Cas could have fought it. It would have been amazing
F: "Oh yeah? Well you fight like a cow! You big old bed-wetting doodiehead!"
H: We will surely avoid scurvey if we all eat an orange
F: That's how they'd beat Lucifer!
F: "And...um...door hinge? No, no..oh well, back to Hell..."
H: And they all lived happily ever after on an island with rum and monkies

N: He looks a lot like his character in 24, I can see why you might be worried he'd turn out to be the psycho
H: He does have a track record of playing bad guys apart from this and SPN
N: I saw him in his CSI episode, that man was evil - and he played it well.
H: Yeah, his first major role was as a seriel rapist. Clearly he creeps people out
N: I think its because of how easily he can change expressions - people who do that don't generally engender trust. Psychopaths are usually good at that, its why its hard to profile psychopaths unless you spend time with them. Its all part of our nature, a predator hides what they're doing at all times, while prey react in predictable emotional ways.
If someone can look anyway they want, then you don't know what's going on with them, and that's dangerous.
And of course, he does have bad boy looks - though as Castiel, that doesn't really come across, he does just look like a mild mannered, stressed and slightly alcoholic accountant for most of the time. Until he's intent on something, like evil, or Dean - or evil and Dean.
H: LOL! It's true! Misha is like that in person too. Changes all the time depending on what he's doing and who he's talking too.
Oh, god, Misha is a RL psycho
...or just a really good actor
N: The two aren't mutually exclusive - though to be fair, an actor is more likely to be a sociopath than a psychopath.
Though from what I know about Misha (mostly from what you've told me), he deserves his own classification. Like Mishiopath or something.
H: Hah! A Mishopath. I like it. What does that entail I wonder? Apart from being awesome
N: I'll leave that up to proper Misha fans to define Mishiopathology ;)
And the less said about the Misha pillowcases conversation the better ;)
