hilsLost, like SPN, is one of those shows I have been invested in for a long time. We started off watching S1 over the summer after it aired in the US and after that both ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jacqui_hw got hooked and from then on I have been torrenting the whole time it was on.
I've always been invested in the characters had epic amounts of discussion on LJ and now it's over. Kind of weird really.
I cried. A lot. Which was a little awkward since I was watching it at work. My boss isn't in but our network engineer is. Luckily he left me to it while he watched Doctor Who on his laptop. LOL.
So, I'm trying to figure out what it meant. The sideways!verse was limbo then? Just waiting for the characters to put right what they couldn't do in their actual lives. Ben chose to stay because he wasn't ready to move on yet? He had things to do with Danielle and Alex.
I loved that the final scene was how it started, with Jack in the bamboo with Vincent.
It made me happy to see Shannon and Boone back. Why wasn't Michael in the Church then? And I don't think Ana-Lucia was there either.
But I liked it. I think it was an entirely satisfying ending.caersidi said it was like the end of BSG which people either loved or hated. I loved the ending of BSG and I loved the ending of this too
I'm not convinced this was the plan all along, even though JJ said he knew from the beginning how it was going to end. But it worked.
It made me missmarvo. We used to discuss the show in my LJ all the time when he was alive and I'd love to have known what he thought of the ending.
