Inspiration

It's funny that even though when I'm actually writing I need total silence I get a lot of my inspiration from music.

It's like my whole big bang fic from last year came about because I was listening to Can't Fight This Feeling and it made me think of Jared and Jensen. The whole road trip plot was just a byproduct of that.

Anyway, the fic I'm working on at the moment has been ticking along but I kind of felt like something was missing. Then this song came on my iPod while I was walking home and it was exactly what I needed to say about my characters. I've now got detailed notes about everything that needs to happen between the point I'm at and the end.

I tend to think of shivedheart when stuff like this happens as I know how much she loved her music.
