Twitter stuff

hilsSo, this post is less about Misha's tweets (although there is one and a photo) and more about SPN on Twitter in general. This follows on from the Misha/Jim stuff from last night
First of all Chad Lindberg decided to join in
Chad: Is there a Bromance happening between @jumblejim and @mishacollins ..? I feel left out of the "Handsome Men's Club". What's a guy got to do?
Then Misha came back a few hours later
Misha: The pervert from the plane showed up again. I don't know how he found me, but I'm taking out a restraining order. http://twitpic.com/18rwlo
Hee! And now Traci has just got involved too

missyjack this morning who was trying to identify Castiel's phone model for the Supernatural Wiki site. I looked at a few pics, guessed it was a Nokia (but only because that's what Dean uses) but couldn't get any further than that.
Anyway, there's a member of the SPN production team on Twitter who seems to like chatting to the fans (and she's the one who stuck the Ellen poster on Misha's trailer) so when she popped online I asked her. Less than five minutes later I had a reply
Cas' phone is a Nokia 8800, @hils_k & @superwiki
No prob, @hils_k every character has a props box of jewellery, keys, phone, ect. I just had a peek in there.
Isn't it amazing that we now live in a world where you can interact directly with people who work on the shows you love just to find out random facts. Seriously, those replies got me as excited as I would have been if one of the cast had replied.
That's another thing I was talking tomissyjack about this morning actually. There's this real feeling of closeness on Twitter. Like a sense of community that in some ways is even stronger than the one on LJ because it's like a group IM almost.
I was saying that these days if I want to know something I will generally ask Twitter before I Google. LOL. It really is an awesome little site and I'm quite hooked on it now (and not just because of Misha)
