hilsSomething I really want to see happen in SPN this year
I know we've already sort of seen Dean dealing with Cas when he's hurt, but what I REALLY want is for a no-jokes appreciation of what Cas has done for them.
I know it's in Dean's nature to make jokes when he's freaking out. I genuinely think he was worried about Cas when he made his 'nerdy little guy with wings' comment. I'd just like to see him have just one moment of honesty, either because Cas gets hurt saving them or they're about to face down Lucifer and they don't think they'll make it out
It happens aplenty in fic but I'd just love to see Dean on screen acknowledge that Cas pulled him out of hell and literally ditched his entire life to help Dean. Even if it's just an awkward 'we might die so thanks for saving me' sort of thing.
I hope this happens.
