Oh, yes, I like this a lot. It's like a mesh of BSG and T:SCC both of which I loved.

I'm amazed at Joseph Adama. He is so not what I was expecting at all. I was expecting someone morally righteous like Bill was.

I'm a little dubious about the Taurons. They seem to be a mesh of Jewish/Hispanic/Italian cultures but there seems to be something a little stereotypical about them that rubs me the wrong way

On the other hand I kind of love that Bill's Uncle Sam is gay and there's no big deal made about it it at all. When he first talked to Bill about hitting on guys and Joe managing to score dates with their sisters I thought I'd heard him wrong. LOL. But it's nice the way it's totally normal and Bill was talking to Sam and his boyfriend (or husband?) about them having kids.

I also liked that Clarice's poly marriage is totally normal too.

So, yeah, I think I will be sticking with this
