Books I've read this year

hils1. The Woad to Wuin - Peter David
2. Supernatural: Rising Son - Peter Johnston
That was pretty good. The art was definitely much nicer than in Origins. This book really gives you a feel of just how fucked up the boys lives were growing up.
What I also found interesting is that the focus of the book is very much Sam and how important he is. I think people seem to forget that. I've seen loads of people bitching that S4 and S5 are all Dean and the role he has to play. I think people forget that S1 and S2 were all about Sam. Personally I've never had a problem with one brother being given preferential treatment over the other. It all balances out.
Next is the graphic novel of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Eric Shanower
