Damn you, Kripke!

I really wanted to hate this episode but all the way to work I was smiling whenever I thought of these two


And to a lesser extent these two as well


And the more I think about it the more I think that, yes, it was poking fun at the fans quite a bit but at the same time I think he gets it.

That whole speech at the end about how their lives suck so they LARP for a bit of escapism. I think most of us can get that. I mean we don't all LARP but don't we write fanfic for the same reason? To bury ourselves in another, more exiting world?

And, you know, Damien and Barnes were willing to risk their lives to help people. And it's sweet that they met and fell in love because of their shared love of Supernatural

And I had a point to make about Becky too but I went and forgot it while I was walking in. Damn.

Oh, it wasn't Becky I was going to talk about. It was Kripke. I didn't realise he wrote this episode. That kinds of says a lot. He doesn't have a good rep sheet when it comes to writing
