hilsStill trying desperately to fend off this stupid cold. Sore throat has now progressed into a cough but I still don't feel particularly ill. It's just annoying more than anything.

kafers tonight for Mead Wednesday. Declined to drink any actual mead and had beer instead. Then someone knocked over a glass and I wound up with mead in my lap. I suspect it was karma or something. LOL.
None of the usual Jorvik crowd were there so had to make small talk with a bunch of people I didn't know. Talked about where I work and my fangirling tendencies and then someone said 'so, apart from where you work and liking a lot of TV tell us something else about yourself'
I couldn't think of anything :(
When did I become a social failure?
The thing is I do have a lot of interests. I like to travel, I like photography, I read a lot. My mind just went totally blank. I must have come across as some weird recluse who spends all their free time in front of the TV.
