Dean wants to give Bobby a backrub? Uh, eww!
Cas has a cellphone now? I don't know why but this amuses me greatly
Hi Cas! EEE! It makes me happy whenever he appears on screen, which is also pretty much how I felt throughout S4 the first time I watched it
Oh, well I guess they didn't wait too long to lay on the God theory. Poor Bobby though. Not really sure why it's a shock that Cas can't heal him since he couldn't heal Dean last season either.
"No, he's not on any flatbread." Aww! I love how Cas takes everything so literally
Holy shit Cas is awesome this year! Lay that verbal bitchslap on Dean!
Holy shit! Dean's amulet is a God detector? I can't decide whether I love where this show is going or hate it.
Aww! I love how Dean is all protective over it even though things are so messed up between him and Sam
Nice to see Rufus back. I'd almost forgotten about him. Love a show with continuity
Spirit in the Sky? This show has a kickass soundtrack. I'm amazed they never released it.
I hate to say it but I think Sam's hotness has diminished again. Possibly because he is no longer badass. I don't know. Maybe it was just an S4 thing.
Oh, look, it's Ellen. I fear that means Jo isn't far behind.
I don't like seeing the boys all angry and mistrustful of each other :(
Also, is Cas being limited to one scene per episode because that's kind of lame considering he's the alleged third star of the show now
Eh? Jo is possessed but asking for her mom back. Does that mean Ellen is possessed too?
Oh, Sammy's been captured. Dean to the rescue I hope
Woah! Sam's eyes are black again. Meep! Also, what the hell is going on?
EEE! The Four Horsemen! I should not be excited but it's one of my favourite parts of Revelation. What? I have a degree in Theology. This stuff fascinates me. I very nearly wrote my dissertation on some of the symbolism in the book of Revelation but I opted for Grail lore in the end
Ah, ok. No one is possessed. Excellent.
SPN casts AMAZING actors as their villains I have to say. The guy playing War is rocking! Are we going to get Famine, Pestilance and Death in later eps?
Hehe! Love Dean making an LotR reference.
Oh, god, I want to hug Sam so bad right now! This is even worse than when the boys broke up back in S1
Aww! But Dean offered him the car *wibbles*
Overall I think I preferred this episode to last week in that the pacing felt better. Last weeks was excellent in places but there were also parts I really didn't like and it felt kind of jumpy. What's getting to me most about both of these first two episodes though is that it's kind of putting me off Dean quite a lot.
I'm not saying that what Sam did was right but I really think that after everything that Dean has done he's really not in the position to take the moral highground. Did he even ever tell Sam that he broke the first seal?
I do trust in Kripke that all will be made right in the end but it's bothering me quite a lot. It's kind of reminding me (in a massively lesser extent admittedly) of when I wound up hating Clark in S7 of Smallville.
It's just weird because I have been a Dean girl since pretty much day one and these days I find myself siding with Sam more and more.
