I wonder if anyone has counted the number of scenes Dean talks with his mouth full of food. God, I would hate to be Jensen. LOL! The amount of crap he must have to eat over and over for just one scene.

What I said the first time around:

Eh, that was ok. I don't think it did a great deal to advance the plot. The angels have their own agenda. Was that supposed to be a shock reveal? LOL!

Sad that they killed off Pamela, and it seemed a little uneccessary. Had to LOL at her perving over Sam's ass while he was unconscious though.

Also, I see we're back with the Wincest not so subtle subtext.

I did like seeing Tessa back as well. Reminded me of the good old days of season 2.

I think this is my favourite S4 episode. I remember getting very excited about it when it aired.

I don't think I've ever really noticed before how different Castiel and Uriel are. I mean outside of Uriel being evil and all. Uriel is a lot more human. He laughs and is sarcastic. He's quite a lot like Dean actually. Is Uriel higher up the chain of command than Cas? I forget.

Aww! Castiel is getting too close to Dean and developing emotions. Yeah, we all know what those emotions are *g*

Oh, Dean. Cas, you should have hugged him!

My God Jensen is amazing in this episode

Oh, she does look evil when he's drinking her blood though. All part of the master plan I guess

And WTF! Anna calling Castiel 'Cas' What the hell is going on in this ep? Are Dean's nicknames being sold on eBay or something?

I was all happy and squeeful when Cas was saying how he's grown too fond of Dean but then the torture started and dude!

Then Sam killed Alistair and DUDE!!!

Then Uriel tried to kill Castiel and OMFG!!!!

Then Dean started to cry and *wibbles*

Hehe! Ok, in retrospect it's not that exciting but I suppose this time I knew what was coming. It's still a strong episode though, apart from all the nickname abuse. LOL!

This episode confuses me because it reads like an AU fic and it makes me want to read Sam/Dean (but in this world, not where they're brothers). HELP ME!

Well, I wanted to watch this to get my Castiel fix and he wasn't even in it. Imagine my surprise when the episode was FUCKING AWESOME anyway. I may have even preferred it to last weeks. Jury is still out on that one.

This show is confusing me, I have to say, and I don't know if it's me or the show that's changed. A lot of the episodes that were loved by the fandom just did nothing for me at all. I was bored for a good chunk of this season and I had no real interest in the angels/demons storyline. All of a sudden in the last couple of weeks I've got hooked again. I don't know if it's just my epic Castiel love or whether it's just got good again.

Anyway, I loved this even without Cas so YAY. I think it was because it really was like an old school episode. I loved the boys working together and joking and the lack of angst.

It was great

Oh, look. I finally stopped spelling it as Cass. You know why? Because I started reading the fic just before Death Takes A Holiday aired. LOL!

Anyway, I'm pretty much in agreement with this and I do actually think it's better than On The Head Of A Pin. It's just so much fun!

Now I need to go and sit quietly and try and deal with my Smith/Wesson shipping tendencies. You know there is a comm for them, but it seems to be all PWP. I want epic storylines where they don't get their memories back and hit the road and start working on becoming hunters. They don't even have to hook up really much


This is another strong contender for my favourite ep. It's what got me to write my first Dean/Castiel fic

Chuck! He is so awesome! God, I hope he is in S5. A lot.

This episode made padfoot_uk think of me. The LARP joke in the comic shop made me think of her :-p

The books didn't sell a lot of copies. Had more of an underground cult following. God, I love it!

I actually think that is the best episode this show has done! Ever! I mean the stuff at the start was hilarious of course but then there was an actual serious plot that advanced what was going on

Cas is a fanboy! OMG! I about died when he started flicking through the book! And he was so awesome giving Dean hints on what to do. Seriously, I have so much love it hurts.

Right, now I am going to go and read fic. Best 'Dean reads fanfic about him and Cas' story will be recced shortly. There's bound to be...a few out there.

Edit: Actually, I was thinking. I've discussed with people before about the difference between Joss and Kripke. Joss has his own ideas. He knows what fans want and often gives it to them but with a twist, like the very dark and abusive Spuffy relationship in season 6

Kripke just wants to make the fans happy I think. Rightly or wrongly he gives us what we want. Fans like Cas, so we get more Cas in season 5. Not complaining.

If Joss was writing the show Cas would fall because of his attachment to Dean, and then die, happy that he discovered what love was even if it wasn't returned.

Kripke...well, I don't know what he's going to do but I don't think it will be anything that bleak.

But I was thinking about this and how it's going to end. I think Dean is going to die. Again. Not at the end of season 4 I mean when the series comes to an end. I think he will die and go to heaven because once the war is over what else is there for him to do? The man deserves some peace and I think it will be his reward for doing God's work. Naturally Cas will be there too, and probably his mother. I'm not really sure what happened to John after he got released from Hell.

Yeah, this is definitely my fave but I love the whole block of these three eps to be honest. They all gel together nicely and are awesome.
