This show really does like its scary girls doesn't it. The girl from the painting in Provenance, Missy Bender, Lilith, this girl. Meep!

Hey, the teenage daughter was in Heroes playing young Angela. I thought I recognised her

This episode is kind of boring. Slightly creepy but most boring. It kind of feels like an S1 episode, which isn't a bad thing, but it's sort of out of place after all the angels and demons stuff

"So what now?"
"We could tell them the truth."
"Really?"
"No, not really."

Hah! And the uncle is Trey from The OC.

Psycho Nell. Hehe!

Wow, Dean must be angsting if he's turning down a burger

What I said the first time:

Well, that's just typical, I moan about how Supernatural isn't like it used to be and we get an episode that EXACTLY like how it used to be! LOL!

I loved this! It was scary, there was a twist and it advanced the plot a little. Nothing more I could ask from an epiosde really. I loved it!

Hee! Supergirl is all old and a mommy!

This episode reminded me a little of The Benders from Season 1. Excellent!

And even though I hate all the Angels/Demons nonsense I did miss Cass quite a lot. Yes, there's no pleasing me. LOL!

Yeah, pretty much the total opposite on a second viewing. I'd much rather have the angels/demons storyline than this. All in all it was a pretty pointless episode

It was creepy though so I'll give it that. I like episodes that scare me

Oh, god, I still remember how much I hated this episode the first time around. Let's see if it's a bit better this time

Yeah, it's still boring *yawns*

Hee! On the plus side it wins point for the Police Academy nod. The Blue Oyster Club scene in that film cracks me up every time

"You ain't never been had until you've been had by The Chief. Oh, and what's your safe word."

*dies*

The scene with Sam and Ruby is a lot more interesting when you know what they're talking about and even moreso now we know what Ruby's plan was

Now, this is something I have found interesting since the beginning and I'd forgotten they actually address on the show. What happens when Sam and Dean get too old to hunt? I think I mentioned this back when I was watching Time Is On My Side. Sam I can see handling it a hell of a lot better than Dean. What does Dean have outside of hunting and his brother?

Oh, Sam is wearing his hoodie again. YAY

Ok, I take it back about Sam handling getting older better than Dean.

What I said the first time around:

Eh, it was ok.

I have suddenly realised that the girl playing Ruby is actually pretty bad. The scene with her and Sam in this episode was just...boring.

I liked the little story about the old guys dealing with getting old but mostly it was just average. I have to say I'm just going through the motions with this show now.

Ah well, I fully expect half of fandom to jump on my head now.

Yeah, I found it boring this time. Probably even more than the first time. Ah well.

Oh, little wee!Sam is the cutest and most awesome thing ever

Coach!Dean! ROFL!!!

'The whistle makes me their God' Hee!!!

Oh, god, hand in the blender. I can't look

Teen!Dean is hot. I am going to hell

Aww! Imagine if Sam had decided to become a writer instead of a lawyer. OMG! Imagine if Sam had been the prophet instead of Chuck!

Oh, Sam's face when Dirk's ghost calls him evil *wibbles*

What I said the first time:

This show twists and turns like a twisty turny thing

I have to say that teenage!Dean made this whole thing worth watching. The actor even looks a bit like Jensen. Wonderful

Poor Sammy. He made me cry this week. I just wanted to hug him.

Marvellous!

I'm still missing Cass though. Tell me he comes back soon

I really, really loved this episode on a second viewing. A lot more than the first time around actually.

OMG WHEN DO I LEARN HOW TO SPELL 'CAS'?

Ok, this episode will forevermore be the episode that more or less made Dean canonically gay. Come on, the siren takes the form of a guy! They must have known what they were doing. The funny thing is I totally didn't think of it at the time. I think I was discussing the ep with [livejournal.com profile] littlehollyleaf and I was all OMG HANG ON A MINUTE

I love that it's always Sam who manages to get through to people who don't want to talk. No one can resist the puppy eyes. LOL!

Hehe! Love Dean's face when the doctor is making eyes at Sam and totally ignoring him

AHAHA! The strippers are all Disney princesses! I missed that the first time around I think

And here we go with Dean's random knowledge of classic literature again. I would love to know the reasoning behind it

It's right there. Sirens read your mind, see what you want most and cloak themselves. Which means Dean's perfect...uh...man is a hot FBI agent who likes his car and shares the same taste in music. LOL!

Belle looks alarmingly like Angelina Jolie. LOL!

OMFG!!! The siren is Hoyt! *dies*

Hee! Bobby in his apron. I love it

Notice how Dean and Nick are paying no attention whatsoever to the naked girls and are talking music instead

OMG! Jared is so hot! At the risk of sounding shallow I demand more shirtless scenes

Oh, so they're explaining Nick as the ideal little brother. I call BS

Meh! It lost me at this point the first time around. I liked the episode until Nick makes Sam and Dean talk about all their issues. It's just a clumsy way of getting everything out there

Goddamn I've said it before and I'll say it again. I really hate seeing the boys beat the crap out of each other

What I said the first time:

HELL YEAH! That's more like it! Even though I figured out the agent was the siren as soon as he bonded with Dean about the car I still loved it!

Sam, shirtless, with all those rippling muscles in his back and shoulders was just an added bonus ;)

I was thinking the other day that the reason I've been so down on SPN this year is that I haven't felt any real emotional attachment to the boys. I can't even explain why but I've just felt kind of withdrawn from them both. However, tonight, at the end of the ep where they're pretending to be cool with each other after a moment of brutal honesty. Egads it broke my heart and THAT'S what makes a good episode!

Can't wait to see what happens next week

Amusing was a comment from [livejournal.com profile] bogwitch who said that she didn't enjoy but suspected it was because she's not a slasher. My response: 'Oh, I don't slash SPN either and I still liked it' HAH!
