spn_j2_bigbang so I figured I may as well keep up the trend of doing a Monday rec post. This way I won't be spamming my journal every time I read a fic I want to rec. So, here we go

Every Word a Piece of My Heart
The war is over and Jimmy is finally free to go back to his family. Everything should be perfect – then why isn’t it?
A lot of people have tried to write Jimmy but I think only few have come close to getting it right. This is one of those fics. I felt total sympathy for the character and wasn't sitting there waiting for Castiel to come back.
Anywhere But Here
Dean Winchester discovers that the grass is always greener on the other side of the timeline.
I love alternate timeline stories and this is a good one coupled with a nice dose of h/c
The Land of Unlikeness
Once his brain stops turning circles in his skull, he tries to take stock. His gun is gone, and so is Ruby's knife. His body's a cacophony of aches and pains, small, stinging cuts where the sand has worked in. Give him twelve hours and he'll be a walking bruise and muscles that won't work right. Narrowing his eyes, Dean chances a look down the slope and figures, give him twenty-four and he'll be dead.
This is just so beautifully written and the bible lore that's been used feels very natural
Ensnare
Castiel is Lucifer’s favorite brother. In order to make Castiel happy enough to follow him, Lucifer decides to give him a present.
I think this is my favourite Lucifer yet. The prompt could have produced a cracky fic but what we actually get is something that feels entirely natural with just a side order of humour
J2 Fic:

After a devastating event that leaves Jared emotionless, he moves back to Canada for Megan’s last year of high school. When Megan gets a new job and comes home talking about a guy she works with named Jensen, Jared can't help but to start to have feelings again…
This is just a sweet fic. It just melted me when I read it
