Title: A Certain Smile

Summary: It's 1958. Jared is the high school superstar: all-around athlete, straight-A student, and one half of the most popular couple in town. Jensen is the teen rebel, all motorcycles, hot rods, and rock ‘n’ roll. When Jared’s life veers closer to the edge, he finds Jensen waiting for him there. The collision is inevitable.
My comments: This could easily have been a typical high school AU but the decision to set it in the 1950s changes the whole dynamic and makes it a really interesting read

Title: The Empty Room

Summary: Jared’s life felt like it was slowly falling into pieces, slipping right through his fingers and he didn’t even know why.What he did know was that there had to be a reason why he would always find his dogs scratching at the door to the empty room in his house. Why he would hesitate so many times before driving off to set simply because it felt wrong somehow to go alone. Why he would dream of this one guy he’d never met, but who, in his dreams, felt like a man he had spent a lifetime with. Why he couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something, someone, he’d forgotten.
My comments: This is a really unique and cleverly written idea. I got absolutely sucked into this world and what I thought was going to be a really obvious ending wasn't at all.
