Mum-Ra rang me not long after I arrived and Ros's said she was in York. Bless her she wanted to check I was in one piece after the accident (although I suppose accident is the wrong word since it was clearly someone's fault). She took me to Tescos and we had a drink and did some shopping. She bought me chocolate and fruit which is what any staple diet needs ;)

Been working on my rpf_big_bang this afternoon/evening. It's not going so well today but I'm getting words on the page and at this stage that's all that matters. It's going to need some pretty heavy editing before it's anywhere near being in a postable state. Luckily I still have plenty of time. 1st draft isn't due until the start of Sept.

I'm not going to set myself the unreasonable target of having it finished by next weekend but if I can break the 10K word count that will make me happy. On just over over 6K at the moment.

Ros's kitty is the most co-dependant cat I have ever met. She really doesn't like to be away from people for more than a little while. She's currently lying on the bed behind me and watching me type. Tweeted a pic of her earlier and will share on here if anyone else is interested.

I should probably get some dinner really. Then I might resume the SPN marathon.
