When the fangirls hit France

Final batch of France photos here
It's definitely been an interesting day. We got to have a lie in this morning which was glorious. After leisurely packing and checking out we headed to the Sacre Coeur. There were many steps and we blamed Bradley. It was an incredible building though so it was worth the trek.

After that we headed to Montmartre which I've never been to before and I loved. It's very much the vision of Paris that I have in my head. It's very touristy which I found amusing since it's where all the penniless artists used to hang out. We found a nice cafe for lunch and soaked up the atmosphere

After that we headed to the Erotic Art Museum. It was an...interesting experience. It's right in the heart of what used to be Paris's red light district and is just down the road from the Moulin Rouge.
The museum itself had everything from ancient art and fertility statues right through to modern paintings and dildos. By far the most interesting thing we saw was a collection of porn films from the 1920s. They ranged from the funny (a cartoon where a man had a detachable cock) through to the more standard stuff involving the usual cliches like sexy nurses and gardeners. We also had the squick factor. It involved a dog. That's all I'll say (and we blamed Bradley for that one too).
After that we walked past several sex shops down to the Moulin Rouge so I could take a photo.

The Moulin Rouge
We ended the day resting in a park before heading home. Overall it's been a pretty damn awesome trip. Fangirl holidays are the best and this one had bonus Colin and Bradley. Stuff like this is so much more fun than an actual con. I really must try to get to Vancouver so I can do some of the SPN and SV locations

Don't actually know what this building is. I just thought it was pretty.
