hilsCan any of the fellow writers on my flist explain to me the difference between active and passive writing? I've been told in the past that I tend to overly use passive sentences but no one can tell me how to stop doing it. LOL
Hints and tips gratefully recieved. I chatted to Dave about this a couple of weeks ago as he's the only published writer I know in real life. Sadly all he could come up with was 'I can see active and passive when I read but I can't describe it'
