1. Watchmen
2. The Young Victoria
3. The Boat That Rocked
4. Star Trek
5. Terminator Salvation
Hmm...well, it was better than Terminator 3 but to be honest it wouldn't have taken much.
It's kind of a hard one for me to review really because it didn't feel like a continuation of the series really. I think you could easily have gone to see it without having seen any of the previous films or the TV series.
There were little nods to the first two films though, a few lines, John Connor's choice of music when taking down the bike, but overall it felt more like a standalone.
Sam Worthington was good, as you all said he was, and he reminded me a bit of Misha Collins which didn't hurt *g*
I really liked the kid playing Kyle Reese. He both looked and sounded like Michael Biehn and also could act.
The little girl was pretty much uneccessary and I thought they could have done a bit more with John's wife/girlfriend. I'm not really sure why either of them were in it really.
The fight scenes between the humans and the robots felt more or less copied and pasted from Transformers
Greg flailed when Arnie showed up which was most amusing.
So, I don't really know whether I liked it or not. I'd say T1, T2 and the TV show were better overall. I'm kind of narked that the show got cancelled just before this got released as I'm sure more people would be interested in watching it now. Fail Fox.
