Good weekend was good.

When we got to [livejournal.com profile] padfoot_uk's we dumped food and I got to drool over HD with accompanying cinema surround sound. Transformers was amazing! Probably even better than seeing at the actual cinema. One day I will have a HD TV and surround sound. When I am rich. LOL.

[livejournal.com profile] flickums and [livejournal.com profile] artharsil arrived next followed shortly by [livejournal.com profile] caersidi and [livejournal.com profile] richandme

Once we were settled it was time for the traditional silly video watching. In an effort to convince [livejournal.com profile] nam_melon to watch SPN (and to taunt [livejournal.com profile] flickums who hasn't seen S4 yet) we watched some clips. We started off with the pizza delivery scene in Monster Movie. It was quite weird because I remember really not liking this episode when it aired, but watching it again I was laughing my ass off! I really am going to have to watch season 4 again and try and work out why I was on such a downer about it for so long.

Anyway, after that we watched Jensen singing Eye of the Tiger (which will always be made of win) followed by Dean screaming at the cat in Yellow Fever. Most amusing

After that it was onto the silly youtube clips where we watched fainting goats and crack spiders

After that it was time for food, drink and Eurovision. We all had scorcards and had to rate each entry. A lot of them went into negative figures and a couple even earned themselves mathamatical equations. In the end Ukraine came out top for me with Germany second. The Norwegian guy looked too much like Zac Efron for me. LOL

Once it became clear Norway was going to win we stoped watching and Sarah introduced us to the joys of Tim Minchin. I have had this bloody song stuck in my head for DAYS

Then it was bedtime.

Sunday was met with the traditional tea and bacon sandwiches. We also watched Devil May Cry porn. LOL. Well, it might as well have been porn. LOL.

Mum-Ra came and picked me up and I spent a few hours in the afternoon trying to find a good Castiel song for [livejournal.com profile] littlehollyleaf to use for her next vid. Seriously, does anyone out there have any songs that remind you of Cas because I went through almost all 2000 songs on my iPod and came up with nothing

After dinner it was time to go to the opera. We went to see Aida and it was good. I did get a bit frustrated with how melodramatic and wet everyone was, but I think that's sort of the point. LOL. Still, that's one thing to cross off my 'things to do before I'm 30' list. Mum-Ra is trying to get us ballet tickets next.

This morning I booked my train tickets to London for this weekend. OMG! Less than a week until Colin and Bradley. I also get to cross 'watch a live sporting event' off my list on Sunday. Hee!
