hils1. Watchmen
2. The Young Victoria
3. The Boat That Rocked
4. Star Trek
Overall I liked it a lot. It's not quite as squee-inducing as I was expecting after the reactions from my flist but I did enjoy it
Things I liked:
Spock. Duh. Zachary Quinto is a hot vulcan. He seriously needs to ditch the shite that Heroes has become and do something better.
Bones. Karl Urban also made of win, and he managed to use the 'damnit' line without hamming it up. YAY!
Scottie. How can anyone not love Simon Pegg? The man is adorable.
Chekov. OMG how cute was he?
Things I did not care for so much:
Kirk. Although saying that Shatner was always a bit crap so I suppose it works. LOL
Spock/Uhura. Really? It seems to me that they shoehorned this in to stop the slashers. LOL. Come on Kirk/Spock was the first official OTP. Slash exists because of them. You don't mess with that. This is where someone tells me that Spock/Uhura is canon in one of the many films I missed. It's a shame because they were kind of hot, but it just felt wrong.
Time travel crap. I don't think it was needed really. Again was this just an excuse to have Leonard Nimoy in it?
