Nom nom nom!
Jan. 21st, 2009 07:28 pmNow that I am not drunk let me take a moment to gush over the meal of awesome we had last night.
It started well. A bottle of Champagne. Then we decided to skip starters and save the money for more booze (I think you see where this is going).
For the main course we both opted for the T-Bone Steak. OMG! It was the most heavenly thing I have eaten in a long time. I think only Cattleman's does a better steak (I miss that place). It came with saute potatoes, green beans and mushrooms. All cooked to perfection.
Afterwards we had more booze. I opted for Strawberry Fruili (first introduced to me by someone in Sheffield. Maybe
summer_moth) and Greg had a Peruvian beer.
Pudding came and I had the most heavenly Creme Brulee. God, I wish there had been more of it!
Then we ordered more booze. I had a glass of a very nice Chablis and Greg had some 16 year old Whisky, which I tried and it made me cough it was so smokey.
Then we staggered home.
I'm almost tempted to work another hellish weekend so we can do this again some time. LOL!
