There's probably going to be a lot of questions while people get their heads around this

Subscribing and granting access. What's the difference and why are they seperate?

Ok, this is quick and off the top of my head, I'll hunt down the FAQs in a second.
When I Subscribe to your journal I say that I want to see your posts on my Reading Page.
When I grant Access to your journal I say that it's ok for you to read my locked posts.
They're separate because they are two different things, this gives you better control over who gets to see your locked stuff and who you just want to be able to follow. It might not make much difference to you so it's perfectly fine to grant access to everyone you subscribe to and then it's basically the equivalent of 'friending' them in LJ.
