summer_moth wanted to know about how I write sex scenes, what I do to make it believable and if there's any sexual act I won't write

Most of my 'research' on the subject is done by reading other stories/books in the same genre. If there's something specific I want to learn about (a story I wrote with a rimming scene for example) I went and looked at some 'adult' websites to get some ideas. They weren't porn sites so much as gay websites. There's websites out there specifically about writing erotica too.

I have a beta who will look over things and tell me if it's not believeable but generally when it comes to sex scenes what happens is directed by the characters, not me.

Up until recently I always steered away from non-consensual sex but I have since written one story which involved it. It's not my cup of tea at all though so I likely won't write it again unless it's necessary to drive the story.
