Woah!

I have to say overall I liked this episode. The only downside being OMG WHY IS BIZARRO IN LOVE WITH LANA LIKE EVERYONE ELSE FFS!!!

Ahem, ok now that's out of the way let's look at the rest of the episode and what I liked about it.

Chloe - I love Chloe but the sheer look of disgust on her face when Lana suggested that Clark seemed different because he was finally admitting his love for her. Awesome!! Seriously, how self-obsessed is Lana anyway.

Braniac - Hi James!!! *g*

Bizarro - Tom is doing that hot thing with his voice again. OMG! GUH!! I'm kind of sad they properly killed him off this time.

Lex - More specifically Michael's performance in this episode. I actually felt sorry for him...right up until the end anyway. That scene in Grant's office had Lex looking SO woobie. And killing off the brother who can't love him is SUCH a Lex thing to do. Loved the nod to Memoria with Lex on the roof in the rain.

It was weird watching this because I've actually missed Smallville and I didn't realise it until the episode started. I'm glad it's back.

And, I never thought I'd say this, but I was glad to see Clark and Lana sharing a bed at the end of the episode. They're moved away from that weird asexual mother/son relationship into something a bit more real. Although Lana seems to want to be the good little wifey and cook all Clark's meals for him.

And she's already been to Paris. Surely she must have realised something was up when the first place Bizarro suggested they go was the place she met her ex-boyfriend.

I have no idea what I'm going to write for my snippet but it's NOT going to be Clex. I just can't after what just happened. There's no way it would work. Clark would never forgive Lex for what he did, and I know that's Lex's character but I'm not even feeling the redemption vibe towards him at the moment.
