Good news and bad
Sep. 11th, 2007 05:50 pmI had a surprisingly pleasant experience buying my phone. Last time I bought one I spent about 20 minutes fending off a smug bastard in a suit who was determined to sell me a contract I didn't want or need.
This time I went in all prepared for more arguing. I told the guy what I wanted and he got what I needed, set it up for me and that was that. YAY! He even took the SIM card out of my old phone and put it into the new one for me. YAY! And I got £20 free call time for upgrading. YAY!
Then, when I got home, I had a card from the postie saying I've got an £11 customs fee to pay on a package. I'm hoping it's my Cafepress stuff as I just sent them a snarky e mail wanting to know where it was. Alas the sorting off closed at 6pm so I shall have to go tomorrow and check
