I notice Lex never outright says 'I love you' to Lana. It's all 'oh, you mean so much to me' etc. I think it's because he will only ever really love Clark

Lana is annoying already and all she's done is lie there and pull faces at Lex.

Wow, and Lana actually cares for Lex too at this point. Wonder when she realises Clark is her true love after all

Lana thinks meteor mutants should be experimented on? This is why she and Clark would NEVER work!!!
