Ok, I knew this was going to be a hard book to read but nothing prepared me for the shock twist a couple of chapters from the end. My hands are still shaking!
Very powerful book and deeply disturbing too. I would have loved to have been given this to study while I was at Uni. I was having all sorts of essay ideas while I was reading it.
Next on the list is Hornblower and the Hotspur by C.S Forester. I need some nice Horatio/Bush slash
