Shamelessly stolen poll

jacqui_hw just did a poll because she's going to be 30 in 3 years. This means I'm going to be 30 in 2 years *cries and flails*

Seriously, how did that happen?

I'd love to be debt free by the time I'm 30 but with my student loan and other stuff that's not going to happen.

Aside from that I'm pretty much happy. I like my job, I'm finally earning enough money to be comfortably well off (until I start driving lessons. LOL) and I've got lots of trips to new places (mostly in the US but hey) on the horizon.

I've been to the Caribbean which was one of my lifes aims and aside from that I can't really think of anything I'm desperate to do. I'm quite content really

I would like to own my own house and have a cat but realistically I can't afford to do that. I'd need to save up at least £10,000 for a decent deposit and there's no way I could manage that in 2 years. Especially when all my savings will be going on driving lessons for about a year of that.

I don't mind. Feasibly I could be in my own place by the time I'm 40 but really I don't mind. So long as I live somewhere nice I don't mind if it's rented or owned. Lots of rented places let you keep pets and that would be enough for me :)

Wow, this post has wound up being a lot longer than I planned. LOL.
