hilsI went into town a couple of hours ago to get a few bits and pieces. The weather is fantastic! So hot! I didn't need a coat or a jumper so it must be summer.
Anyway, came to pay for my stuff and my card was declined. Tried again, declined again. Freaked out.
Went to the ATM to check my balance and everything was fine. Each month when I get paid I sit down and work out what I need to pay for and how much spare money I should have at the end of it all. My balance was exactly as my sums said it should be, down to the last £
I'm guessing there was some sort of fault with the machine in the shop. At least I'm hoping that's what it was. I can't think of any reason why my card would have been rejected.
Unfortunately there's no way for me to get in touch with the bank until Monday so I'm going to spend the weekend being all worried now :(
