Help?

I'm trying to upload a .pdf file onto SSA and I keep getting told it's an invalid file type, despite it saying it accepts .txt and .pdf files

Any idea what I might be doing wrong? I've used Open Office to convert a .doc to .pdf so maybe it's that :-S

I don't like losing all my bold and italic formatting by uploading it as a .txt document
