Urgh and YAY!

hilsFire alarm went off at 8am this morning. This was after I was up until 3am chatting to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
selinamoonfire and working through some issues with my fic. I was not amused. It's gone off so many times now I didn't even bother getting up to invesigate. I looked out of my window and no one was evacuating so that told me it was yet another false alarm. After about 20 mins someone managed to reset it
This plays hell on my nerves after my last flat DID burn down :-S
Still, today is a fun day. I shall be heading out in a couple of hours to meetnam_melon who will be driving me to padfoot_uk's for the traditional, annual Eurovision party. I intend to drink a lot and have laughs with my friends. WHEE!
In the meantime, once I've had lunch and put an overnight bag together, I can work on my fic until it's time to leave
