Books I've read this year
Apr. 30th, 2007 10:57 pm1. The Odyssey - Homer
2. Smallville: The Comics - Misc
3. The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray - Chris Wooding
4. Lex Luthor: Man of Steel - Brian Azzarello & Lee Bremejo
5. The Ultimates: Super-Human - Mark Millar
6. The Ultimates: Homeland Security - Mark Millar
7. Supreme Power - J. Michael Straczynski, Jeff Youngquist, Gary Frank
8. Cursed - Med Odom
9. The Big Over Easy - Jasper Fforde
10. Fantastic Four: Imaginauts - Mark Waid
11. Ultimate Spider-Man - Brian Michael Bendis, Mark Bagley & Bill Jemas
12. Mr Midshipman Hornblower - CS Forester
I liked the first Hornblower book. It seems that most of the stories they filmed were taken from this one so that was nice. Archie is very much a background character (and in fact doesn't even have a first name as I recall) and Pellew is less of a presence. So far no Bush but I'm hoping he'll be in the next one
Now I have a load of graphic novels to read, courtesy of Greg. First on the list is Fantastic Four: Unthinkable by Mark Waid. I quite liked the last FF book I read but I found it a bit boring. I've been told this one is a lot darker so I'm hoping that will make things a bit more interesting. We shall see
