Laptop saga continues

hilsOk, so it's not really a saga.
Dixons are selling the laptop I want at a cheaper price and I was considering buying it from them until I heard horrific tales of their customer service (or lack thereof). So I think I'm just going to have to suck it up and pay the slightly more expensive price
Ah well. I don't think there's much else I need to buy next month. All my con stuff is sorted and my time in London will be paid for by work so I think I'm ok.
I really need a geeky icon of some sort for when I get all excited about new tech. I think there are people on here who remember when I got my first digital camera and photographed EVERYTHING.
