Laptop vs Desktop

odie77 asked me why I'm upgrading the RAM on my desktop PC when the laptop I'm getting is already much better. I dunno, I feel kind of weird using a laptop as my main computer and that's probably silly. I've just always had a desktop PC and to me a laptop is for things like travelling and when I can't be arsed to get out of bed. LOLI suppose it makes sense not to waste money on extra RAM when my laptop will have 1GB of it and an 80GB hard drive (compared to the 40GB my desktop has). Am I being silly and old fashioned by wanting to keep my desktop running and wanting it to run well?
