This is probably one of Smallville's many gaping plot holes but at what point does Clark realise that Lex has been split in two by black kryptonite? As I recall, Lex explains to Clark what his experiment involved and then all of a sudden at the end of the episode Clark is telling his parents it was black kryptonite. Am I forgetting something?
