Superman Returns: A fresh look

Ok, so I watched Superman Returns and it makes a lot of difference watching it straight after watching 1 and 2.


I didn't realise how many quotes were taken directly from the original two films. A nice homage possibly but also possibly unnecessary.

Brandon Routh isn't actually that great is he? I like his Clark a lot better than his Superman. I dunno, there was something about his voice and he looks kinda young compared to Christopher Reeve. Kate Bosworth looks young too but I noticed that the first time I watched it

Kevin Spacey is a great Lex though. Possibly even better than Gene Hackman.

Overall I just felt a little...I dunno...disappointed this time. The first two times I watched it I was caught up on the excitement of it being a new Superman film and it had been years since I'd seen the first two so I didn't really notice the things that were wrong with it

I'm sure most of you will disagree. It seems to be the week for it. LOL.

But, with that in mind, a poll
